Bali Modern

We recently completed a private front entry garden in this La Jolla home between the existing house and its new guest house.  The Bali Modern pavilion secures the property while enhancing street appeal; its features include a bronze standing-seam metal roof, distressed wood corbels, and a cedar-stained gate with a thatch bamboo resin window inset. Sloped architectural support  columns are clad in oversized butterscotch tiles with an inset channel of black polish stones that dramatically collect the night accent lighting.

A drought tolerant landscape features stepping stones, statuary, accent lighting, a pebble garden, and sculptural exotic plants.  Once inside the custom bamboo-inspired iron fence, guests find themselves crossing an ipe wood bridge spanning a large koi pond.

The Bali Modern theme continues throughout the home’s interior and to the backyard decks, pool, and cabana.
